The London Bus Tour

Today we tootled all around London on double-decker buses…what a fun day!

We began the day fully rested, yea! A trip to the money changer for Emma, then we bought our tube tickets and got on the right train, another yea! We got off in Piccadilly Circus and located our bus without any trouble. I tell you, my penchant for organization has served me well. I have maps with all our locations marked. Without that I never would have found the bus!

With accompanying witty commentary we rode everywhere and saw everything! We stopped off at the castle and were lucky enough to see a bit of the Changing of the Guard. There were tons of people by the gates, so our view was less than wonderful, but when the guards left it was beautiful.

We saw the London Eye, and agreed going up in that thing was not our cup of tea!

And even french fries from a very different looking McDonald’s.

Emma and I went to a great Indian restaurant for dinner…we were the only ones there!

Ok, I’ve heard from several people that that is the Tower Bridge, not London Bridge……I stand corrected. There was a lot going on today.
