Endlessness

Meandering along the boardwalk reveals more blossoms than I had thought grew by the sea. We are all NOT the same, (how delightful!), and,

we ARE all the same. Same hurts, same desires, same hopes and same needs. My daily challenge is to love all things equally, and in that developing compassion, find the love I need for this work in progress.

Ordinary

I taught my first class in weeks last night, and what a welcome return to routine it was. An ordinary day is a blessing we often forget about when we seem to have nothing but. Students were happy to return, and Jules, the yoga cat, was happy to see them again. During relaxation I gazed out the French doors at the scene on my patio, making a mental note to take this photo because I loved the arrangement of blossoms and their color against the green backdrop. It wasn’t until this morning that I saw the clothesline in the background. At first I thought it ruined the photo, but now…I see that it is a metaphor for ordinary life. What could be more ordinary than laundry, and what a perfect reminder!
