Jordan dropped us off on his way to the gym, and we found our way to the Victorian Market, primarily a place to buy souvenirs, but I found a beautiful tanzanite ring.
The last time I was here I purchased a diamond ring to wear every day so I would always remember this special city. Now I have one for the other hand. 😊
Later in the day Kaelyn and I helped Jordan select two tiny baby kilts at this market for a friend. So cute!
One place on my must-see list was Leakey’s Bookshop.
I could have hung out here forever. I found a great book on Jane Ratcliffe who pioneered nursing and rearing injured animals without taming them. Kaelyn bought a poetry anthology.
Down the street for a delicious gluten free lunch,
And a walk past the. Inverness castle
before we met up with Jordan and returned to the cottage.
I actually drove!!!
and back up….steeeeeeep climb!
With Jordan back behind the wheel, we tootled around on ridiculously narrow roads
complete with switchbacks and fortunately, no there traffic!
Jordan and Kaelyn checking out the trail map….that’s what the road felt like.
