Snowy Days

Image

It’s snowing again here in New Hampshire, and unlike many, I am in love with it. Sometimes I feel like I need a winter support group. I love the quiet snowfalling time, watching the bird activity at the feeders during a storm, reading in my chair by the window watching the world become beautifully white.

I have many creative projects that benefit from this bonus time during a blizzard.

And a dog for one of the boys.

I finished one of the socks, a very light and airy pair this time.

Finishing up the Christmas scrapbook-working on 2011, two more to go!

And just for good measure, I’m sharing a beautiful sunrise photo and the Waterlogue version, as well as a sunset here on Sunset St.

Man, I love where I live!

it’s time to block the blue sweater I made for myself, and get some done on the quilt for the little guy. I need some primo knitting and quilting time!

Projects!

There’s a lot going on here. Well, Christmas is approaching, but the vision book is growing too.

Beginning with a glass of wine and a snack, I worked a bit on the vision book. Will this be the hub and I in a few years? 🙂

This weekend at the beach house has been designated for basting the quilt for Christmas. Starting-

And finished! Now for the hand quilting.

I have a new project: a December scrapbook. Every year I try hard to enjoy the days leading up to Christmas, but there are always so many things going on that I know I miss things. This year I am planning to make a scrapbook with a page for each day. I’ll take a photo and jot something down about the day-total experience! I’m prepping the book now so there’s no excuse when Dec 1 rolls around.

This is going to be good!

Going to bed early so I can see the eclipse at sunrise.
