Ha! I outfoxed the crazy tech situation here at the hotel! Here are the photos from last night!
Opera House
Crazy traffic!
Emma’s first foie gras
She loved it, and wanted it again today!
An array of sherbets for dessert
Oh, and a mousse too!

It was a beautiful day in Paris, warm and sunny….and today was Eiffel Tower day!
We had a little trouble finding the metro, but we did, and we arrived with plenty of time before our tour started. We went all the way to the top!! Here’s the Arc de Triomphe
When we came back down, Emma, Rene and Nathalie all had crepes!
Then we went for a river cruise. Beautiful!
That’s Notre Dame.
And one of the best photos of all
Then, off to dinner
And dessert
It was a fabulous day, making up a bit for yesterday. i’m tired though, time to get into bed, do a little FB and read.
Giverny tomorrow!

Yesterday was frustrating because of internet problems….I won’t go into them all….but they will limit what I can post. I need to bring my iPad with me for photos, so hopefully that won’t be too awkward.
The knitting project switched, for those wha have been following….no HP hat, but a purple scarf
Bless my driver yesterday, I asked if he could take me to the place where I needed to pick up my Paris Pass before taking me to our hotel. He hesitated, but eventually said yes when I explained my timing predicament. I told him his mother would be proud of him 🙂
Our tiny but comfy French hotel room
And, last but not least, meeting Nathalie and Rene. I haven’t seen Nathalie in well over 20 years!!
N and R took us to a fabulous French restaurant for dinner last night. The photos I took are unavailable to show, but just know, Emma had her first fois grois, uh oh, I think. I misspelled that! But you all know what I mean. The food was outstanding, and the diners were still arriving when we left at 11! Back home to a shower and bed.
Today we go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower….Emma thought we were climbing the 1620 steps! Hahahahahaha!
