What is enlightenment?

It’s Time

I knew it was time. My boy was struggling to breathe, unable to sit or lie down, and his eyes were filled with questions. “It’s time,” they said. He knew better than anyone that his departure was imminent. He enjoyed the wind in his fur one last time, dreaming of what lies over the rainbow. He drifted off, held in love, and now She holds his heart for me until I can again.
